It was incredibly stupid on the Houses part to give Obama a standing innovation just for saying, “We still need health care reform”… as if any of them are the ones suffering from the health care issue.

How about we do not have all that government control in Healthcare Reform? I do not want the government seeing what I spend my money on, or even having access to my bank account. I do not want the healthcare to cover people bringing diseases to America by crossing the borders illegally. I do not want to be forced into a government-controlled healthcare, and I do not want te people who have earned so much money by going to health school to have one of the lowest pay-rates in the country.

@thordoggie It’s more a question of whether or not you believe health care is a right, and whether or not you’re willing to watch others suffer simply because they cannot afford care. Fellow humans shoud be treated with dignity, respect, and compassion, no matter what their income. Of course everyone should be free to fail and suceed, earn more or less, etc. But does this mean we need to compromise the health and lives of others simply because they are not better off?

  5. thordoggie Says:

the fact is, we are NOT all equal…we are equal ubder they eyes of the law as a birthright, but that is no guarantee that we turn out equal in abilities, talents…or INCOME. a doctor that studies for 8, 10, 12 yrs absolutely deserves more than a highschool drop out that digs ditches. we will only have equal outcomes if we all go on welfare.

Get over “equality” and “fairness” you sound like a 4 your old.

This approach to true equality is by far the most responsible, even though it is costly to some of our more well-to-do population. Time to give in to what’s morally and ethically right, rather than grasp and grab all you can from your fellow citizens for your own wealth.
